BSES Personal Development - 'Adventure with Purpose'
BSES is a youth development charity. We take this task seriously. We endeavour to create well defined personal development that is of real long term value. We address this task on expeditions in beautiful, powerful, inspirational wilderness areas of the world, under the heading ‘Adventure with Purpose'.
The BSES Personal Development Programme was developed in partnership with Dr. Pete
Allison, University of Edinburgh (Dept of Education).
BSES aims to educate young people by providing inspirational and challenging scientific expeditions to remote, wild environments and to develop their confidence, teamwork, leadership and spirit of adventure.
As a registered charity, BSES depends upon the generous support of its Members, Supporters, Sponsors and Partner Organisations.
Our Objective is to take young people on expeditions of a challenging and scientific nature in demanding natural wilderness environments overseas to develop their self-reliance, teamwork, leadership and spirit of adventure.
We welcome your financial support for any of our projects or expeditions. We are enormously grateful to the individuals, parents, companies, charitable trusts and foundations that support us on a regular basis.
